Lavorare da casa (secondo i maestri del design).Working at home (according to the bigs of design).

Buon lavoro a tutti, da casa ovviamente…Start with the installation that I liked more at the Salone del Mobile 2013: the topic “office” treated by Jean Nouvel and in particular the theme “Working at home”.

Of course, I was impressed by this issue explained by personalities of this magnitude: in fact usually, especially in Italy, it is believed that only small workers are forced to work at home because they can not afford an office or because they have to combine working life with other obligations (children for example …).

But there are many countries where working from home is considered a luxury of the great and a stratagem for intellectuals and creative to get the best from their concentration … and look up ‘what I found:

this character with headphones is Philippe Starck (behind the immense red Hermes blanket) trying

to concentrate while his wife Jasmine and daughter Justice are living in their home – office.

I find also that a great couple of 50s designer created and often worked from home: Ray & Charles Eams.

And then this  office-corner by Jean Nouvel, current technology and small size, suitable for any home I’d say …

Good job to everyone, from home of course …
