Un pomeriggio d’agosto aspettavo un’amica in una splendida libreria di Ulm assieme a mio figlio, ed abbiamo fatto una scoperta meravigliosa: i Wimmelbuch di Susanne Rotraut. Si tratta di un’autrice geniale, una delle migliori grafiche europee, un linguaggio universale, disegni meticolosi, realistici ed attraenti, ricchi nei dettagli e nelle situazioni, storie che si intrecciano e si reinventano….

Questo è il suo team di personaggi:

che vivono le loro vite, disegnate in una modalità eccezionale, che rende la quotidianità un’incanto…

Poi cambiano le stagioni e le loro abitudini, nasce così un libro per ogni stagione:

e anche uno per la notte:

Penso che questi libri, in particolare quelli di Susanne Berner, siano un vero capolavoro… L’autrice ha già ottenuto numerosi premi a livello europeo, ma ancora non sono stati importati in Italia, sebbene l’unica cosa che necessiti traduzione è la copertina… perché all’interno Susanne disegna soltanto, le parole le metteranno i bambini!

Questi libri sono adatti a qualsiasi età, dai 9 mesi per esercitare il linguaggio, poi per inventare ed intrecciare storie, per apprendere le stagioni e lo scorrere delle ore e per conoscere il disegno descrittivo…
